It just shows even your best still isn't good enough. Arkansas still has a losing record against Auburn but picking which years to count makes it sound better. Doesn't it?

I suspect arkie is better than Auburn when they have a good coach. Petrino dominated Auburn. Nutt did okay against them. You better hope Bulimia got really lucky at Wisconsin.

Yea, Auburn owns the overall lead thanks to a Liberty Bowl victory when they still had Bo Jackson in '84. Also, thanks to the short-lived success of Terry Bowden after the bottom fell out of our program.

For what it's worth, you can't really draw the line anywhere and have it look better for Auburn, but enjoy that one win series lead while it lasts.

Again picking which years to count. Auburn still has a winning record against them. Dominating Chizik isn't hard. I'm not worried about BB. He hasn't had to build a program from the ground up before like he has to at Arky. He took over a team that was already winning at Wisconsin so check back in in 3 years.

Auburn has a one game edge on arkie. arkie is good when they have a good coach. They were mediocre under Nutt because he is mediocre. The were a perennial top 10 program with good coaches in the SWC. They were good under Petrino.

Most teams are good with good coaches. This is the SEC. Petrino is gone.

Seriously, if Auburn can win it, I think Arkansas is long overdue. We've won, or shared, the SEC-W just as many times and the series between the two is tied in SEC play (we're 9-6 in the last 15 years.)

Except that I've never seen Arkansas show the potential to recruit as well as Auburn. Bielema will never be a great recruiter; Petrino just "coached them up."

Malzahn took Arkansas State backwards from where Freeze had them, so I guess we know what to expect from him.

So that's why Auburn has managed to keep the series tied in SEC play?

Given the imaginary hypothetical that they only beat Alabama and A&M to help us in the west of course I'd like that as a LSU fan. But there's only so much space at the top so I'd rather Arky and Auburn be respectable than elite

Yeah. Gus took a team that lost alot of Freeze's players and still won the conference with a tougher schedule. The QB greatly improved from what he did under Freeze and the offense was better.

Gus is not rebuilding Auburn from the ground up. A lot of the players on the offense have played for him in his system. Gus is more of a promotion from within than a new coach with a completely different system. That gives you a headstart just like Bret had at Wisconsin.

By your logic Saban took Bama backwards in 2010 when they lost alot of their talent.

I love how hyped the Bama game has been the past few years. Winning that game makes my year. I think college is football is better when there are only a couple of elite teams in the East and West of the SEC and those winners get to meet in Atlanta to see who the best team in the country is.

The SEC has pretty good balance of elite teams at the top of each division lately (Bama, LSU, A&M, Florida, UGA, USC). Provided the schedules balance so each team plays at least three of those opponents prior to the SEC CCG I think the SEC ends up with an entertaining regular season and a great CCG to enjoy

If your hardon for Arkansas lasts more than 4 hours, please seek medical attention. A hardon for this long can cut off the supply of fresh blood to the penis. The result: Penile fibrosis, the formation of scar tissue in the main body of the penis. This often means permanent erectile dysfunction.

I don't judge how you get em as long as your winning em.

Auburn and Arkansas week on here will be entertaining. How many kids are on the Auburn roster this year?
