That's typical for a poor performing team in the pros. Do you even follow professional football?
And no, paying Cam doesn't count as pro...

Yes, this is my first year for pro football.

as opposed to what program? The shocking statistic that most fan bases ignore about Auburn that will tell you how much coaches love it there is this: No head coach has left Auburn on his own to go to another job since the 40s. Almost 70 years, no coach has left Auburn to take another job. A lot of them even still live in Auburn and come to Auburn a good bit after they are fired.

Now, you're just talking out of your arse here. The Dolphins have the worst fan base of any NFL team. The stadium is largely empty on virtually every home game, mostly populated by fans of the visiting team.
You are the one talking out of your arse. I actually go to a few Fins games a year and the attendance is pretty solid. In fact it is very good considering how the Fins haven't even won the AFC since the early 80's.
Here is a link to NFL attendance this year. Even though the Fins will probably end with a losing record and definitely won't make the playoffs, they are 12/32 teams in attendance.

Typical auburn logic.
I would respond with "typical LSU logic"
I think it is funny that you are pointing fingers at AU for firing a coach after one bad season.....
unlike LSU...
when they fired Gerry D. two years after a 9 win season.....
LSU is much more "gracious" than AU when it comes to poor coaching records...

Yes, 3 wins and 0-8 in the SEC is a fireable offense at pretty much every single SEC school..........especially when you are in year four as HC at that school. If Gus does that in year four.........he gone.

Listen, if Malzahn leaves, we will just take Freeze from Ole Miss. Just like we did Tubby. AU is a better program.

Hasn't really been a whole lot of demand for Auburn coaches in 70 years, dude. The only one I can think of that wasn't canned in that time is Jordan, maybe?

Auburn is a destination job.

If Bill Curry, Ray Perkins, and Dennis Franchione found other jobs, there are probably several different Auburn coaches that could have found other jobs if they wanted

If your destination is to ultimately get canned and become washed up in your profession.

This is a thread about AU, not bama son.

Curry upgraded to UK. He used us. Franchione, too. I think Dubose upgraded to Milsaps. Then upgraded again to Opp HS, or maybe the Boll Weevils of Enterprise.

The next Dolphin game you're at, please post a photo of the upper level. There will be thousands of empty seats, plus that stadium is one of the quietests.

I can't really see Gus being an NFL coach. Not because he couldn't do it, I just see him preferring to be a college coach.

I know it isn't great, but NFL attendance is dropping and considering the lack of accomplishments for so long, the Fins fanbase is a good one.
I'm not really a Miami fan, but I go to a couple of games a year because the stadium is about 5 miles from me and I'll usually get free club level seats from my firm once or twice a year. It makes the game fun even if I'm not much of a fan, being able to watch from inside the club level or in the seats right outside.
The Fins are the only pro team in South Florida that actually has a good following IMO.

I agree. I'm not sure his HUNH power rushing attack would work in the NFL either. Gus was built for the college game, IMO.
