Just curious. How good is this backup and to UF fans do you think hes good enough to win the remaining east games?

I still think we can beat GAg with Treon. So yes, I think we still win the east.

Yep.

Muschamp is gone. We have a coach that is competent.

Remember who Mac had at QB at Alabama?

This is the only major QB scandal that could somehow hurt UGA rather than help us

Treon bout to run all over us

Well he beat UT and UGA, and was arguably the starter entering the year, weaker arm but a significantly better deep ball. He won back to back HS national titles (seriously, the one upside here is if Treon wins and develops like some people think he could, Florida probably improves it's long term recruiting by a significant amount, Harris is a HS legend in South Florida).

A bit like Russell Wilson, he's a guy who was a 4 star and if he was 4 inches taller would have been a 5 star. Last Season even with Muschamp as his coach, he was the SEC All Freshman QB. The gerbil consensus was that the reason Grier had the due was largely due to scheme fit not talent.

I still think we win the East, just at 6-2 not 7-1, honestly my bigger concern is depth now as Treon likes to extend plays; isn't huge and we don't really have a back up.

This switches the LSU game from a toss up to a definite loss but they can beat Georgia while throwing it 10 times. They will win the East.

their passing game really isnt all that special, if they have a true DT QB on the bench, might be a good time to roll him out.

They don't need a QB to beat LSU. They just need to stop LF.

Yes. Harris and grier produce at about the same level. Grier more fundamentally sound but harris is a dual threat in how he can run and throw a mean deep ball. Its not like the offense is the deciding factor that is taking us far. As long as it can put up at least 14 points.. our defense can carry us . They are that good

Gump logic. Guice outrushed Fournette last Saturday. We are loaded with playmakers and Harris was slinging it. We are not a one dimensional team no matter how badly you want it to be so. Fournette just kicks us into overdrive.

We may get beat but we will score more than 14 even though your D is outstanding.

I can't believe there are fans that still think Treon is better than Grier. it blows my mind.

with their remaining SEC schedule, yes they should. UGA losing to UT last weekend basically gave Florida the division. Sorry, Kentucky, i know mathematically you're in good shape, but you have a couple losses left on your schedule

they can still win the east cause they play solid D, but can't beat who ever wins the west.
