& of course, you should trust your coach, he's a good one...

The fact that LSU fans are ready to throw AJ under the bus and anoint Harris as the next messiah based off a half quarter is why we have our rantard reputation.
Agree.

I agree Mont,LSU had their arse handed to them in every aspect of the game. It's much more than just QB

Without any fricking doubt i think harris should start. Dude may make mistakes but the defense and running game can help carry him out of those situations. He clearly has more upside

But at the same time, you can't blame it all on the D. The second they got off their field, they had to go back on.
It's not that Harris threw TD's, but he threw accurate balls, even when running. Jennings wasn't throwing accurate balls standing in the pocket. Not sure if maybe pocket awareness is Harris's problem, but Jennings had 0 last night (of course, the o line didn't look good at all).

He is undoubtedly a better passer.
My only concern being youth combined with a subpar OL.
He is also noticeably faster and a true threat to get big yards on runs.
His issue is youth and he needs to learn the plays because he hasn't known them a few times when he has gotten in. But I can deal with that given production like last night.
I think Jennings has done okay, but he was way off last night and Miles doesn't understand how a backup QB works.

i won't lie. I wish the score would've remained 34-16 so our fans would be reminded how much of an arse kicking that game was
Mississippi State deserved to beat you by 3 TDs in your house(at night which is supposed to make it a big deal). I agree. LSU has serious problems, in the toughest division in college football history. 6-6 is a real possibility.

Which makes it even more impressive that he threw TWO TDs in about two minutes and was uncomfortably close (for State) to throwing a third and winning the game for LSU. Jennings had some prevent toward the end too. He didn't move the ball. Last night was just not his night.

If Les can shore up that online and crank up the running game, then QB will look better.

should start at QB for LSU?

I'm curious as to your opinions.
Miles post game interview with Gordy Rush had all the code words in it that he will likely be the starter next week. He did not say it or even throw AJ under the bus - he just lauded all the great things that BH can bring to the game and that it would be looked at very hard this week.

2 QB system
Harris is too young and small to be starting this year

For a 2 QB system to work, you actually have to pull one and sub the other one in when the starter is clearly having an off night and the chemistry just doesn't seem to be there for whatever reason.

this is exactly how LSU fans began to get so high on Jennings last year: his deep TD pass against arkansas.
we're talking about a kid who came in, had license to air it out without any real consequence, and then capitalized on a really stupid MSU turnover.
i havent watched much LSU yet, so i dont know how bad jennings has looked, but if its bad enough that what little Harris did last night was enough to move the rabble to call for jennings benching, then thats a real terrible sign.

The truth of the matter is this: the heart of LSU's team is now playing on Sunday. Until we get players that stay longer, the team will struggle

because my opinion still stands whether or not i watched LSU at all.
a guy thows two TDs is garbage time and everyone is ready to throw jennings under the bus, who was the new savior beginning after his own TD bomb at the end of last year.
i dont know how good harris is, and apparently no one else does either.

I have seen both players throw the ball up close, and Jennings actually throws a tighter ball on the short ones, and Harris throws the prettiest long ball I've ever seen.
At the end of the day, it doesn't matter. Les Miles won't let either QB be successful and neither will this offensive line.

Doesn't matter who the QB is when our lines are the opposite of talented. This is 2008/2009 talent levels as far as interior linemen go
