Do people on this thread not realize throwing it deep against the prevent is the hardest thing to do?? Dink and dunk across the middle is open but managing to find your guy deep in the prevent is extremely hard

Harris threw 2 deep balls one that was a 50/50 jump ball at best. (a throw he had to make under the circumstances, yes). None of what people saw at the end of the game can be enough to give anyone an intelligent pov on who is the better QB. If you forgot already Jennings also had a nice deep throw pass in the game, at a time where MSU wasn't relaxed but actually playing hard. Preseason I thought Harris would be the guy but when I watched one of the first 2 games when they were playing both it appeared Harris wasn't ready yet.

I think you need to see how he performs against a quality team when the score is 0-0 before you jump in with both feet. just as easy to ruin a freshman QB throwing him into the fire and the way your OL got its arse whipped last night Tom Brady wasnt gonna help you much.

If Lsu wants to win some games, Harris is a no brainer. Jennings just ain't no qb.

If LSU can't figure their running game problems out, it doesn't matter who they put back there.

Harris was there in the spring, right? And it's not like Jennings is some grizzled veteran with years of experience under his belt. He clearly has a cannon and you guys have one more cupcake against NMSU so there's no reason not to give him Mett's playbook and see what happens.

Depends. Whoever you put back there won't survive if the OL doesn't change something. I don't see any outcome changes in your schedule if one plays over the other.

That said, if I were an LSU fan I'd want Harris back there

But he threw a TD pass on blown coverage against Arkansas last year. I thought that mean you're good. I could have sworn every time I questioned Jennings ability, swamp kittens had that gif ready to go.

I think they should start him against New Mexico St. and play him all game. Get him some solid playing time.

Never said he was great; he, like everyone else at the time, had to compete with he who was dead by the time LSU won those Championships in the '80's.

iIrc, LSU never beat AlaBama during that period: 0-3 was as close as they came.

Yea you're right. Tom Brady can't throw timing routes. There were 2 3rd down-conversions where the primary target was wide-open from the moment the ball was snapped and AJ couldn't get it there. Everybody has a bad game but AJ's played poorly in 3 to 4 out of 6 games. Starting to become a trend.

You said he would've won more than 2 SEC Championships in the 80s, even though he averaged less than 7 wins from '75-'79. Just own it. You wanted to believe a garbage narrative about Charlie Mac, but you really didn't know what you were talking about.

No, I did NOT say that, Sir. I did say LSU fans regretted running him off; that was not true of every LSU fan.

After him, State won 5 in a row; LSU fans be the tens of thousands were wanting him back; obviously not you.

Quote my unedited post to prove your points as to what I said.

I saw a backup QB throw two td's in garbage time against a bunch of unmotivated backups playing prevent D. LSU fans are desperately looking for a savior or some shred of victory to take from last night. There is none.
i won't lie. I wish the score would've remained 34-16 so our fans would be reminded how much of an arse kicking that game was

Completely agree. I watched this time after time. The OL looked bad, but a short passing game with LSUs WRs should be doable.
