We should've won in 2012 and last year, but other than that all those Florida teams were flat out better than us. And this isn't just a decade thing. This has been going on since UF and UT started playing regularly. They have our number in football, and we kind of have their number in bball (id rather it be switched). I won't predict us to beat florida again until we actually pull it off. With that being said, this year is one of the best chances we've had in a while.

Y'all lost by 3 scores in 2012 how could you win

I knew the game was over when Hunter tore his ACL on the first play

Yea I do think Tennessee will be the better team this year. But somehow someway Florida will still prevail like always.

I'm saying we were better than you in 2012, but we dooleyed the game away. And what does that have to do with this years game at all?

They'll have to beat Kyler Murray in the championship game. I doubt they can.

Just watch TN vs Bama 1995 and you'll see the way the streak will end like that one.

Come on, brah. UF went to a BCS game, while UT didn't even make a bowl. I don't know how you figure UT was better that year.

If by "dooleyed the game" you mean "my quarterback threw two interceptions and was woefully inaccurate all game" then sure.
And what does the 2012 game have on 2015, since you were the first to bring that up?
Last year and this year were the best chances for UT. They already failed in last year's game. Let's see what the bring this year.

Tennessee is an irrelevant program. They are shite.

Oh yeah, our best chance to win was when we had 9 true freshmen starters and ZERO players drafted for the first time in 50 years
You're a fricking idiot

We returned 10 starters last year, including ZERO OL/DL starters, in their 3rd game of the season last year.
This team is going to be MUCHHHHH better than last years team.

Florida was SO much better than Tennessee in 2012. It took the Florida offense a bit to find their groove, but once they did, they DESTROYED UT in that game. UT had no defense whatsoever in 2012. yeah they had a pretty good offense, but they certainly weren't as good as Florida altogether. Not even close.

The East is still owned by Missouri. UT should be improved though.

I think this year is the best chance UT has to end the streak for some time.
UF has a new coach, breaking in a new system, with holes on the OL, and not much experience at QB.
The defense will be nasty though, so UT will have to come ready to play, which they haven't recently against UF.

This year and probably for several more years, we are going to be the more talented team. If we lose, it's going to come down to deficient coaching.. that is what I am anxious to see.

I don't understand this sentiment. Why is UT suddenly more talented? UF's worst recruiting year in a long time as far as number of 4 and 5 star players was last year, but they still got 2 consensus 5 star players, more CONSENSUS 5 stars than UT has gotten in the last 4 years COMBINED.
Since 2012, UF has recruited 7 5, 37 4, 52 3
Since 2012, UT has recruited 1 5, 43 4 and 60 3.
Basically UT has just recruited a couple more 3 star guys. If UF has one or two more down recruiting cycles, I'll start to buy it, but on paper, which is what you all keep bringing up, UF is just as talented.
