Granted he stepped aside before everything truly collapsed, but his (former) Gamecocks are sitting at 3-7 right now. I just think it looks bad on him for jumping ship when he did.

He did it in an effort to help the school with it's coaching search. It was extremely helpful.

Pinkel has cancer, while working at a cancerous environment. Yet, he's still coaching. CSS could've announced his retirement, and finished out the year. But nope. He walked away like a pathetic bitch. Like the angry hillbilly he is, he couldn't handle it.

That's why his legacy takes a hit. He jumped ship like a rat.

No. He was a great coach, that brought Carolina to unparalleled heights. But he was a little pussy bitch, who stayed too long, and couldn't handle the repercussions of staying too long.

I've said it in other thread, quitting because your team is losing is a bad legacy to leave and will/should taint his legacy.

That's actually a decent point.

Spurrier dominated the 90's and brought Carolina to another level, but the way he left will (and should) be a stain on his legacy.

It's not like he has pancreatic or lung cancer. Toughen up, little man!

It was the perfect ending to the little bitch's career. When he was on top, he was the Supercool Head Ball Coach, giving one-liners about everyone. When he started getting his arse beat, he quit.

That's it. Nothing can change that.

He's not a shitty coach. Just a quitter. Like the little punk kid who would quit playing and go home because they were losing.

Yep, should have quit in January when he wanted to, but when he didn't, he should have stayed until after the season ends.

No, but Saban's takes a hit for losing to the team that lost to Memphis.
