Wrong again. They are not appealing the test results. They are appealing the punishment for the test results.
You are continuing to show you don't know shite about the situation.

I think you're talking about something he's not talking about.

They automatically test you again after a failed test. It's not like Florida appealed the original test to get a second test. That's just the protocol.

I don't know how the NCAA gives out results of drug tests so I have no idea. Besides that, your problem should be directed at the NCAA if you find it odd.

Oh, so if they weren't disputing the results from the test a few months ago, why was a secondary test conducted?
I know the NCAA policy is to run a second test if a player tests positive on the first one. I'm sure UF told the NCAA "No need to follow up, Grier's guilty, we'll suspend him".
I think you need to calm down, you're being absurd.

So UF knew he was ineligible before Sunday even though the NCAA told them he was ineligible Sunday? Look, I know you're trying to troll us, but come the frick on. You're better than this.
There were rumors online during the mizzou game that he was going to be ineligible.
My understanding is that his sample was flagged for PEDs and then the sample is retested more thoroughly.

This didn't happen.
Once again, you have no idea what you're talking about.

why was a secondary test conducted?
It is automatically conducted once a player tests positive. It wasn't requested by UF. Florida was complying with the rules, and once they learned of the results from the B test, Grier was suspended. There's nothing else to it, despite what you want everyone to believe.

They do in some places, fwiw. Packages at least. USPS doesn't have regular mail service though

Schmecklewang saw his QB with a bodybuilder dad gain 123 lbs. over the summer.
Schmecklewang saw him fail his first drug test.
Schmecklewang knew he was juicing.
Schmecklewang crossed his fingers (probably gave him some tips about cleansing the ol system) and hoped he'd beat the second test.
Sounds like Florida is doing things the right way.

That UF didn't get Grier's test results back until Sunday?
Get the frick out of here. UPS, USPS, and Fed Ex don't deliver on Sundays. At the absolute latest, UF knew Grier was ineligible on Saturday, and they played him anyway.
Gator fans, don't even bother commenting, just stay on your board and maintain.
Well, you were there, so tell us. I am sure the NCAA knows when and how they notified. If Florida used a player they knew was ineligible, that would be really stupid. So, tell us why someone would do that, or tell us you really just pulled this out of your ....

Crap we should have built our testing facilities with bricks.

if it fails on a chroma blood gas test twice, you'ed want to get another sample in right away, those test accuracy rates are extremely high, actually a good bit better than all the DNA testing they rave about these days.
Two false positives on that would be in the lottery win level.. at that point it's like the proverbial smoke that has to have fire.. you want the second test in asap to try and clear the first one otherwise you already, obviously knew what you were up against.

Sir, I was not there. I'm not now, nor have I ever been, affiliated with the University of Florida athletic department. For you to imply that I'm associated with this scandal in any way is reprehensible and borderline slanderous.
I expect an apology.

I know you're reading this, good job maintaining btw, and this is a legit thread.
You need to address this scandal on the Gator Board, ignoring it won't make it go away.
