Chris Johnson in the NFL has ran an insane 40.

He also has shitty vision and that's why he has become a sub par running back.

According to CFB stats Grant got 334 yards on 55 carries in 2014. This seems awfully low for a guy with "sub 4.4" speed.

Well, speed has no direct correlation to production for a running back. This may shock you but running backs do not line up next to defensive players and have a footrace down the field to determine yardage.

I clocked him with my eyes, it was close but right at it: 4.39.

He is probably close. Very few of the guys speculated to be that quick in college end up being sub 4.4 in the combine. He is probably legit 4.4 to 4.5.

Marshall is one of those guys that is faster than he looks ala Matt Jones. He looks like he doesn't accelerate that well, but he's 15-20 yards downfield before you know it. "Sneaky fast" is the best way to put it. I could see him running in the 4.5's, which is plenty fast.

I'd really like to see Grant laser timed. I think he'd be under 4.4. People have caught him from behind with an angle, but I can't remember anyone running him down from directly behind him.

Nick Marshall reminds me of Kaepernick in terms of speed. They cover a lot of ground with those long strides.

Meh, Tyrann ran a 4.5 at the combine and ran down an offensive player who had the exact same combine time.

He's slippery. And someone link me to him outrunning Collins from an equal start.

Does it matter? He will suck too bad to play qb at the pro level so it doesn't matter honestly...

Not necessarily. Regardless, he probably has a future in the NFL at another position.

It's Xmas. So I won't point out how ludicrous that is.

You wouldn't have an argument even on Festivus.
