Recent Texas teams are soft, and this year's team is no different. Ole Miss will go into that game with mad swag and leave the burnt orange t-shirt fans speechless.

Ever been to a game in Austin? They have no home field advantage. Stale, wine and cheese crowd that show sup very late and leaves early if they think they will lose.

Why did aggy have such a hard time winning there then?

Has to do with where their talent comes from.

I've always thought this was nothing more than a free shot, but Ole Miss looks to have hit some lucky breaks. Mack Brown was noncommittal on Manny Diaz staying on as Texas DC next week, David Ash went down yesterday and is questionable for Saturday, etc.

Advantages
Ole Miss can run the zone read, which is Texas's weakness
Ole Miss has momentum, Texas is deflated
Texas's secondary sucks, our receivers are our strength

Disadvantages
It's in Austin
Our secondary sucks without Golson and Sawyer at 100%
The possibility of Texas playing for their coaches

Not a disadvantage. Easily one of the quietest and least intimidating venues you can visit.

If Ash does not play, then big advantage to Ole Miss. McCoy is awful. Texas plays with no intensity.

BYU runs a pro style offense. Ole Miss runs the spread like most Big XII schools. I bet Texas will do better next week.

I will be pulling for Ole Miss but after the embarrassment at the hands of BYU, look for Texas to desperately bounce back.

I also think that the way Texas lost yesterday makes a Rebel victory much less likely. Mack is feeling the heat and Texas is a desperate team. I look for them to be much better Sat.

There will be plenty of good seats available. I know these people. Many will arrive late and leave early.

If you play like I think you can play, the best seats in the house will be available at the half.

Even if the place was full, OM fans will be heard.

Remember, you are playing for OM and the SEC. Don't embarrass either one.

I honestly don't know since I haven't paid attention to Texas but I'll say this y'all deserve a win and I'll be cheering for you. My heart says you can but I just don't know enough about that burnt orange team to guess.

Yep, too much on the line in this game for Texas.
