You can still kick someone in the head (which is the shittiest, cowards way) and it be a misdemeanor if they determine that there was no major injuries. It's still a shitty thing to do in any fight and something the leader of the LSU team should not be involved in.

Do you think it possible that out of 90,000 people in the stands that a good percentage (enought to be heard boo-ing) have someon in their family that is in the military or know someone who is?
When I initially heard about the fight, I was dissapointed, but when I heard it was a marine, who came to the defense of the original guy in the fight, that doesn't sit right with me. That guy will be fighting for our freedom in the future. I surely respect him more than any spoiled athlete who decides it's a good idea to kick a defenseless person in the head. And yes, anyone being kicked in the head is defenseless, when they are on the ground.

Dude just because he is in the military doesn't mean that he is a saint. I am in the military and I know many douche bags that deserve a arse whipping just like this guy got.... Not saying that he deserved it but I know some that do.
