the rant is what it's always been

the boos today, however, were deafening and I would have spewed every word in the book had a child not been sitting next to me.

I was sober too

booing the #1 team is unacceptable

It's not just the Rant anymore. I fell like the Rant is spreading throughout the fan base.

I heard 50,000 people boo our own player today and they're not all on the Rant.

God i hope not. I can tolerate the bitching about negatives but they booed a TD today. WTF is that about. They are wanting to cut off their nose to spite their face.

I just don't get it.

They didn't boo a touchdown. They boo'd before that, when Jefferson came into the game. I wonder if those were military families or patriotic people who just don't approve of a player kicking a defenseless soldier in the head while on the ground.

Either way, they didn't boo after the touchdown and they didn't boo jefferson when he came into the game in the second half for a drive.

I can't blame the fans who feel let down by their starting (at the time) quarterback, who is supposed to be a leader, who majorly embarrassed the university.

You confuse "fans" most of which, vast vast majority of which are good with the Infintesimal percentage of bulletin board posters and radio call show types

Those of us who bother to read and post on boards are simply not representative of fans at large.

Why? Did he not get charged with kicking a soldier in the head by a grand jury this week?

Can someone not put patriotism over fanaticism?

We need a return to the Hallman days to sober up the fanbase a little bit.

I don't know about the worst fans, but Arkansas surely wins the fat arse fans award.

Did you not read the LSU facebook page when this came out that it was a marine? It was slammed by military moms/families from around the country.

You're the second person that responded to me like a child. Can you not see the other side of the story...the victim?

If the grand jury thought he really did this he would not have gotten off with a misdemeanor
