You ain't watching me conversate on the Rant. You also missed my initial post in this thread. I think Pauline cost us Game 1. I think the term I used or how we play in post-season baseball was, "Tighter than a brand new snare drum."

This team is perhaps the most talented one in Omaha and that's saying something. Maybe not the best singular talents but up and down? It's a good argument that we have that one.

But we play extremely nervous and without poise and composure. There's a "pressure barrier" that Skip used to talk about that he was an absolute master of coaching and managing through that Pauline seems incapable of.

I think its time that Maineiri's tone deaf handling of pitching-whether in game or strategic decision off the field-bring him some scrutiny. He's admitted himself he took his eye off the ball after the 2009 National Title and all LSU Fans were beyond ready to show his Godson-Javy Sanchez-the door after last year.

But does me wanting the coach to face the fire-maybe even the hotseat if we 2 and Q this year in Omaha-make me lower my expectations?

Abso-frickin-lutely not. In any way. This program wakes up in the morning and p!sses excellence. I'll always demand that and always expect it. Anyone who doesn't is simply lower their expectations and that's how you lose your perch atop this sport at this level.

Which is something I'm unwilling to stand for.

Lap them up. We get p!ssed when we don't win here. And we party like it's 1999 when A&M loses to TCU in the 16th inning Why should we not? We don't laud participation trophies for Omaha brah. We expect to do damage there.

actually there were alot of LSU fans pulling for A&M in that game. Y'all would've been a better matchup for us.

We were the best team in the country until yesterday. We lost one game badly. Over night, we became the worst team in Omaha.

How is it PM's fault that Poche can't make a throw from pitchers mound to first?

To many people want to throw blame on the coach for a players mistake.

Does LSU have talent? Of course they do but they aren't perfect. They made mistakes against TCU, the players did, not the coach.

Yes they do...

I don't see why Poche couldn't pitch in game 3 for LSU? Everyone is so insistent on pitch counts and days rest that they discount middle relief and pitching by committee. Either way they need to go Lange game 2 and possibly start Bain game 3. If you get a big enough lead you take Lange out, say 5 innings and he can be used again in a few days. CPM needs to believe in his bullpen though, it's his biggest flaw IMO.
