I think for the most part Louisiana kids sometimes want a change due to poor upbringing and family support. Most of the reason they ever leave the Pelican state to start over for themselves and their family.

LSU has the whole state to itself. Plus a lot of east Texas.
Alabama has two big time schools, not to mention FSU is
just a short drive from the state's border.
