We didn't want to be in that conference. We want to be in this one. Look out. Next year is going to be rough, I predict the Ags only pull off 9, maybe 10, but once we get acclimated to the simplified nature of the SEC style of play we will be duking it out for the West year in and year out.

I think Slive should give the west Mizzou and let Auburn come to the East. IMHO, that makes much more sense.

Like, say, playing defense in both halves of a game?

TAM are sleeping giants IMO, similar to UF in the late eighties. Now that they have something to sell TX recruits that UT can't counter

I agree wholeheartedly. Just as SWC demise was a boon to LSU recruiting in east Texas, the instability of B12 and current status of SEC will lure many Texas recruits. Regarding Sumlin, yes 2012 will probably be dismal but a better assessment might be made in 2015 or so.

In the last 7 attempts I believe LSU is 1-6 against the Ags. The odd just clearly aren't in their favor going fwd. I am just really surprised by the lack of concern expressed on this site. Are they in denial? Do they know what's about to hit them and that their days are numbered?

A defensive end that is faster than your running back does simplify things, no doubt.

I mean they did so well in the Texas12. I don't get how this guy can even fathom they will do better much less win the SEC which is by far and away a superior league.

The dynamics are different. Aggies can sell recruits on playing in the biggest baddest conference in the country. Before they were competing H2H with all those TX schools including UTx, now they have something unique to offer.

His baggage is probably too much...but yeah, that guy will win wherever he goes, for sure.
