Non-LSU fan, but I can answer this. They neither fear or respect you. Nice trolling though.

Why? He may well be the real deal.

I would say the fear and respect LSU has for A&M is appropriate. Appropriately zero.

Aww, that's cute. When was the last time you won your conference?

I don't ever remember him winning anything of note in Conference USA, and now he's in the hardest division in football, coaching a team that lost its best players.

The various bungery and cornholery coming A&M's way is staggering to say the least. They *might* finish 6th in the West.

We didn't want to be in that conference. We want to be in this one. Look out. Next year is going to be rough, I predict the Ags only pull off 9, maybe 10, but once we get acclimated to the simplified nature of the SEC style of play we will be duking it out for the West year in and year out.

I don't think AU paid anything. I think while Cecil was pimping Cam out, he realized he was about to be ratted out by MSU and told his son to go to AU so he he didn't lose his eligibility.

A certain segment of Hog Nation has a competitor.

So since you didn't get what you wanted, y'all made the conscious decision to absolutely blow at football in a weak conference until the opportunity to join a stronger conference came along?

Good luck with that.

And we basically gave up our Florida rivalry for y'all

TAM are sleeping giants IMO, similar to UF in the late eighties. Now that they have something to sell TX recruits that UT can't counter, they have a chance to start recruit at higher level.

They must get the right coach in there to make it happen, not sold on the new guy yet.

Programs go up and programs go down, if I were LSU I wouldn't be worried about us either right now. But we will be a threat in upcoming years. I remember tiger fans crying in their beers and being quiet for almost the entire first half of the cotton bowl. That game was the beginning of our second half coaching problems. The piggies are very insecure right now though, why else would they start 4 threads a day about Texas A&M on the Rant? I haven't seen any other school so obsessed with Texas A&M on the Rant.

Have any other fanbases on the Rant ever shared a conference with A&M before?
