This isn’t true. Richt inherited a better situation.

Yes, Donna. Had waited 51 years to coach the team Richt inherited.

Of course Smart had the luxury of being left Sony Michel and Nick Chubb.

Want me to list off the multitude of All Conference, All American, and drafted players Donnan left Richt back in 2001?

Sony Michel and Roquan Smith became who they are because of Kirby. You could make the argument that Nick Chubb was able to return to form after what should have been a career ending injury because of Kirby.

Sit down, Johnny, you’re out of your element here.

I guess I should be glad that UGA fans are happy with Richt 2.0. The recruiting success won’t last forever without some hardware regardless of how he’s doing it.

Wanna point out for me who other than Dabo and Saban have done more at their school in the last 4 years? Thanks in advance.

Consistently being in the top 5 and producing nfl players will keep recruiting going just fine.

It's all we have to go on at this point.

We could just independently evaluate different coaches and situations, but that might be too difficult.

Richt did not recruit as good as kirby. Richt was very likable but that got us outback bowl trophies and swag

I would love to see what happens to Coach O under the same circumstances.

LSU was missing like 9 starters on defense and was down to playing WRs at defensive back and beat a top 10 team in the Fiesta Bowl last year

Ucf finished 11th in the ap and 12th in the coaches.

We will have to see where Baylor finishes.

outside the top 10. UCF was ranked 7th when LSU played them. Baylor was ranked 7th when UGA played them, hence why I said UCF was just as much a top 10 as Baylor was. Certainly didn't justify an eye roll as if what I said was ridiculous

Hey. You can predict the future.

I want your portfolio. I'm jealous.

Nah. Ucf wasn’t top 10 without their qb

One could argue Coach O after being hired as the permanent head coach at LSU.

- Same winning percentage as Kirby

- Same amount of SEC Championships as Kirby

- Same amount of Natty appearances

- 2-0 against Kirby

- Heisman Trophy winner

- Odds on favorite to win it all.

Yeah. How about we revisit this in another year or two?

But why? FSU recruiting didn’t struggle from 87-93. Why? Kids love winning and the nfl.

Exactly. Hell, people were predicting LSU to go 6-6 last season for Pete's sake. O responded by beating Kirby's arse on the way to a 10-3 season with a New years Day bowl win.
