Bama's blitz was completely neutralized this game. It led to some big plays in the LSU passing game but Smart (a.k.a. Saban) kept dialing them up.
Mett's big knock was his decision making which was excellent tonight. Even though LSU didn't try to throw deep down the field too often, he was able to stand in the pocket and deliver with accuracy in the face of pressure. Huge step for him.

As a State fan, I remember Chris Relf 2010 all too well. Somewhere around the second half of the season, he actually learned how to pass a football.
In 2011, we go 6-6 and the only thing he was good for was running up his center's arse on third and short.
