I really don't see why LSU fans want us to be mad about our OL. It's at the bottom of the list of things I care about and no amount of LSU posts will change that.

Yea and Alabama fans poison trees. :roll eyes:

Grimes was good here at times and not great at times. Our oLine right now is not our problem. They have actually played well the last few years.

LSU's offensive line wasn't great last year. Certainly wasn't great during the 41-7 beat down against Auburn. If it is great this year, that matches Grimes track record at Auburn of getting mixed results

Don't give me that, LSU didn't have good QB play all year last year. It's not like y'all were the best at passing in 2013 with Marshall either.

It was Grimes' first year at LSU, the Auburn game was early in the season, and you've seen the results of what happened after the line gelled.

This might be the best OL of the Miles era at LSU.

I don't really think the concept is hard to understand. Marshall was a running threat. JJ isn't. Marshall could pass. JJ can't. You can't judge an o-line simply on rushing numbers alone.

It wasn't necessarily technique, it was that his teachings didn't fit the style of offense we were moving toward.

So LSU's offensive line was great late last year when you scored zero points against Arkansas, 10 points against Ole Miss, and 13 points or whatever it was against Alabama

Because you are still blinded by the thought that you at least have one good thing going on your team. Your entire team and HC, OC, DC, is fraud. You're happy because you got garbage time yardage against LSU, and your rushing attack is not even on par with Clemson or Houston .

I said last week that y'all were not better at any position matched up to LSU and only even only like two. After last weekend, there isn't a good part about your team or coaching staff at all. The OL is extremely mediocre at best, and I guess the RBs are mediocre as well. Those are about the best units on your team.

LSU's OL wasn't great early last year because we were installing a new scheme. Once they started figuring things out, we were good to go. We also have two new starters that were recruited by Grimes, playing for us right now and killing it!

If you wanted this thread to deliver the conclusion that "Auburn misses Jeff Grimes, yall said he sucked I just know it I was there I saw it you definitely said it", you could have done it without a thinly veiled question.

It's a brag thread, baw. LSU has the best offensive line in the country. I couldn't care less about what Auburn fans really think.

And no matter how hard you try, none of us think our OL is the problem. And trust us, we know what a problem looks like.

It's called timing the snap. Easy to do when the OL coach/OC doesn't change the snap count.

JJ has quite enough on his plate without having to remember different snap counts.

Yes the OL was great. We averaged at least 4.8 ypc in 4 of our last 6 games (at least 5.94 in 3 games) with absolutely zero threat to pass. We also didn't have a dynamic player in Marshall.
