Sometimes a change of scenery is best for all parties, and Grimes may just be more effective with the philosophy LSU implements.

It's really just this simple. Grimes gave us good recruits and some good and bad seasons. Wasn't retained when the staff got axed. No hard feelings to be had, really I'm glad he's doing well at LSU

What were you hoping to get out of this thread? He's just an OL coach

What's the most important positional group on an offense? OL. LSU's OL is going to win them a ton of games. Thanks for being a baby back bitch though.

I don't know why the Aubbie hate exists for Grimes, I just know that Virginia Tech, whom LSU hired Grimes from, was very sad to see him go.

Not sure where you are getting that from? I don't know any auburn fans who hate him. Nobody has said that in this thread either.

Auburn fans dogged him and said he couldn't teach technique.

It's called timing the snap. Easy to do when the OL coach/OC doesn't change the snap count.

Thanks, buddy.

I wish LSU fans would quit talking shite so early in the season.

Again, haven't seen that here nor on this thread. He was a very good recruiter but his lines got mixed results on the field. If you want to see hate, go ahead and get me going on Loeffler.

That's what fans do sometimes, talk shite about coaches. You uncovered a new phenomenon on a message board. I hope chicken honors you in some way.

I mean a player being offsides isn't really an indication of poor OL play.

WTF is this shite about him being offsides? He anticipated the snap nicely.

Other than that, I have to agree with the Aubbies...OL isn't a problem for you. In fact, your OL will be a major reason why Auburn wins some games they are currently being counted out of IMHO.

It's too early to count Auburn out...

Our OL hasn't been bad

Your oline has been mediocre at best

Louisville
neutral field Auburn 4.63 ypc 190 yards
at home Houston 3.93 ypc 226 yards
at home Clemson 5.05 ypc 202 yards

Jack St is an FCS team.

You had 70 total yards against LSU in the first half. Minus the 65 yard run that should have been stopped for 3 or 5, our first string pretty much owned that OL.

Having a QB that can complete a forward pass will help rushing numbers.

He was a great recruiter at Auburn. Great recruits make great coaches.
