Were they rated that way because of the overall student experience, which usually garners that distinction, and that upset the Texas alum to get upset because students were applying now to aTm as their first choice?

It was a combination of things. Firstly, yes to everything I just quoted. Secondly, A&M's ranking in the top 50 of U.S. News and World Report that year when they were they only Texas school besides Rice to receive a top 50 ranking.

My memory is a bit fuzzy, but the SAT requirement for each school when I applied in 1995-1996 was t.u. 1080, A&M 1170.

Vince Young holds a degree from that institution.

Let that sink in.

That article was from 2014, the year you "graduated", which calls into question whether or not you were actually qualified to attend...
So now your disputing whether I graduated because I was related to a politician? I couldn't have been one of the other tens of thousands of students that were smart enough to get in (unlike our friends that ascribe to utrejects.com)?

This is getting even more and more desperate, but I'm not surprised considering the fact that you're literally stalking my activity on this board

What's hilarious is a guy "THAT stupid" was 3-0 against the aggies and never beat them by less than 11 points in any of those contests.

And A&M never beat Texas by 11 in any of the final 14 meetings between the teams

Congrats on catching a typo? If you say you graduated so be it, can't prove otherwise. Interesting your entire perspective is the Mack Brown era which you seem to think encapsulates all of Texas football but ok.

I do find it hilarious you talk about Aggies obsessed with you when you have nearly 4k posts on a Board for a Conference your school isn't even a member of yet and virtually all of your posts are about Texas A&M. Isn't there a B12 Board you can go to? Your level of obsession around A&M really isn't healthy.

After beating you 24 years in a row, you’ll be happy to know we did indeed kill the 12th Man tradition.

From now on, when we play TCU, we send a player from the FIELD, into the STANDS.

Was the 12th Man implicated as the Covid super spreader? 12th should think about transferring, To Auburn.

At least the ULL tradition of the 12th fan remains intact. Most of you are likely familiar with the Texas A&M tradition of the Twelfth Man, where the student body stands to show they are ready to come to the aid of the team.

But how many know about the equally honorable ULL tradition of the Twelfth Fan? It seems years ago, the Cajuns were yet again going down to defeat, and the crowd was abandoning them in droves. The head coach looked over his shoulder and noticed there were only 11 fans left. He lamented to an assistant that there were no more fans in the stands than Cajun players on the field. Without comment, a young freshman player jumped from the bench and ran to the dressing room. He returned a few minutes later in street clothes and sat in the stands for the remainder of the game, preserving a spectator majority.

In his honor, at each home game a player sits on the bench in street clothes, ready to take to the stands if called.

I never knew that was the extent of the 12th man tradition, and A&M has run with that shite for almost 100 years…fricking embarrassing

Since aggy left for SEC:

Top 10 finishes:

TCU 3
aggy 2

NY6 wins:

TCU 1
aggy 1

Highest final ranking:

TCU 3
aggy 4

aggy has all this money, the big time coach, the fake army, and a cult to boot…and you try to look down on a small, Christian university that has come much closer to a natty in recent history.

The private Baptist school in Waco has come just as close, and it was in a non-Covid season.

It’s laughable that aggy picks on schools with a fraction of their resources, but equal success on the field.
