This is very true. I think that we have about 5 more years of GP remaining. I think Pinkel will be the reason why MIzzou's next coach will be great. He has created a winning culture and brought about better facilities and relationships.

I agree. It will be much like TN after the departure of Phillip Fulmer. Oh wait...bad example.

No, Pinkle is a top 5 SEC coach. Mizzo will be a player in the majority of years.

Especially if they continue to find D lineman like in the past few years.

Mizzou:

- Plays Arkansas every year.
- Plays Vanderbilt every year.
- Plays Kentucky every year.
- Plays a school from Mississippi once every three years.

That means 33% of the time, they will get 4 conference wins at a very minimum. Go .500 against the rest of the schedule and they are 6-2. Doesn't seem that hard.

We are all just trying to tack up slack for Missouri not getting to play Texas A&M as often. Y'all do get to flaunt that gaudy 2-7 record against them over the last nine games after all.

One of the stranger things is how often Mizzou beat A&M recently if their QB wasn't about to win a Heisman.

I don't really think ANYTHING about mizzou.

They are not even an SEC team to me. They are like vanderbilt sports wise and they do not fit in. I did not even get excited about kicking their arse in the SEC title game a few years back.

mizzou=yawn to me.

No, I think Mizz is in great hands and will stay competitive.

Once Tennessee and Florida start winning again I believe mizzou will absolutely be a bottom dweller despite your coach. Mizzou just doesn't recruit well enough to be able to maintain long term success against teams that are getting the top talent year in and year out.

I think the Hogs and Cats laying down for Mizzou over the long haul seems improbable. UK is a strange football school in their win totals look bad but year by year those few wins will include some unexpected wins. Seems like 1 year they won like 3 games, but they were the hard ones and then lost the easy ones.

Difference going forward may be kids now on field. First year in a while I remember outsiders saying the new kids are SEC size instead of the next size down.

Mizzou needs to be in the West. Try that.

Until then...everyone needs to quit bitching for now. You guys are lucky to be where you are.

Can't wait till logic prevails and Auburn can have these arguments in the SEC East where we rightfully belong.

Let's not forget you also played Bama in the '12 regular season.'13,'14 and now '15 you have
avoided Bama,LSU and Auburn. And your permanent
rival has also been down along with UT and UF.

Like someone had mentioned before, you'll still
get a crack at going 6-2 in the conferecne once every 3 or 4 years and that might be enough to win it.I think you got a pretty good shot this year depending on how much Arky and UT have rebounded.

More like Bama and the 2 Tigers bitch, but pretty close.
