Ah, Saban was terrible to local media when he was at LSU. He'd treat them like crap, rough em up with his pissed off answers and then they would have to watch him just roll over like a dog when ESPN came into town to scratch his belly.

Kinda tough on the beat reporter who is responsible for covering the team on a daily basis. Those folks have to scratch for different angles and stories.

Hell, it's an early week press conference with Chattanooga coming to town. So what exactly are these local reporters supposed to do? They try to figure out where to go with something fresh and then Saban gets all pissy cause those lines of questions are not germane to "The Process".

Actually, he's missed on a couple of those (2 with Jordan Jefferson QB-ing I might add). But he's definitely improving as the recent beat down showed.

It's apparent that Saban is fed up with the reporters in Tuscaloosa. Tejas bound.

To the state where local media brought SMU down?!

He's allowed to cheat at Bama.

We're allowed to hold on every play.

C'mon man.

I mean obviously he's busy as shite and isn't flipping through the magazine reading the articles, but is it that outlandish that somebody, somewhere in Tuscaloosa might have mentioned it in passing that his QB was on the cover of a major national magazine? Just say no and move on.

I think it's funny.

But maybe that's because my team is undefeated.

Sorry about all those losses, bro.

Of course he knows AJ is on the cover, it's just a chance for him to show his fake intesnsity like he's too busy to know or care about something like that.

Just like he always fakes a meltdown over a offside penalty up by 60 in the 4th quarter against GA State so everybody can talk about how intense he is. It's all for show.

He's a great recruiter and a darn good football coach but if you really think he doesn't do that stuff for show I don't know what to tell you.

I love how all of the reporters and writers were mocking him and laughing after he stormed out of there. When he comes from behind the stage it reminds me of the way the King in Shrek gets off his horse and stands on the ground. It's truly hilarious

It seemed to me that he was just frickin with the guy. He was kind of smirkig throughout. Everyone was laughing. I thought it was humorous.
