lol uva and nc state will never leave the other nc schools. might have a small shot at va tech but i doubt it.

a school ike uva with a pretigious academic rep is never going to be be caught dead in the SEC.

You show you don't know what you are talking about. NC State is independent of NC and Duke, which is why they would be the team the SEC would pursue. VA or Va Tech would jump at the chance to move to the SEC.

lol, ok. i think you aree too much of a SEC fan boy to see how NC and Va ACC see things. u see everything thru the prism of football and that's now how they see it.

given UVA has not been competitive in the ACC very often, going to SEC would effectively end their program lol

u also said the scandalous Donald J. Trump would never ever ever be president. lol

Clemson is like Taylor Swift. everybody is a fan even if they don't want to admit it.

Trust me, I know, that's why I said might. Our coach bragged about his .500 conference record. After this season he might declare the basketball team champions of life. I think they might be related.

That's why I said students. Just sayin, if you go out in five points you best be packing some serious heat. You do have more students but Clemson kids are not getting shot every year. I thought Watson was Mr. Inconsistent but then he is also the reason for all of our success, you can't have it both ways. Johnson is rated higher than Watson and Lawrence might be headed to Clemson as well. QB is not going to be an issue at Clemson for a long long time. One of them may be a bust but not all of them. Venables leaving would be the only thing that could put us off course.

clemson games are guaranteed big ratings when they play other top programs.

That would be because of the other top program involved. Clemson isn't a big draw nationally when they aren't playoff good.

Yeahhh, since FSU joined the ACC, you have won 3 conference championships. 15 to 3 Clem. Nice try. Wanna talk Major Bowls, Heismans, etc?

Citing ACC titles? FSU Started play in 1992, joined in 91. FSU has 15 titles, Clem has 3. VA Tech has more in that time. Next

FSU has beaten Clemson 57-0, 54-7, and 51-7 since 1993. All of those Clemson teams won atleast 9 games

I think USC would protest that but they would fit in much better in the SEC.

Than us?

Why?

Also I believe UGA, Florida, and Kentucky would all disagree as well. Did A&M join that pact too?

The simple question is what would being in the SEC offer to Clemson that is already doesn't have?

As an ACC school, we are beating non-conference big names like UGa, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Auburn and we are going to the CFP for the second consecutive season.

The school has plenty of money as is reflected in the second highest paid groups of assistants in the nations...

About the only the we can't do is chant "SEC SEC"...

They wouldn't get support from the schools who oppose adding a university from an existing state. USC, UF, and A&M would all oppose. I'm not sure how many votes a school needs for an invite, though.

Add UGA (GA Tech), UK (Louisville) and should be enough.

OP- at the end of the day Clemson would be a. Better fit than Mizzou, but yall don't offer the SEC anything. Not even worth dealing with all the schools that would back USC up.

VA Tech, UNC (would be a huge surprise take from the ACC though, so small chance), Oklahoma, all have better chances. Problem in expansion is that the SEC would most likely have to take the current best options sister school. Ie UVA, NCST, OKST. The aggies were able to escape as their was a small window of "final straw," and aggie governor to help get it thru. Also, utx is way to pompous to think it would actually happen or get in the way.

It would actually be a more difficult road to the playoffs.

Clemson would be dumb to join the SEC. They have it easy right now.

If you really believe that then why wouldn't USC join?..It is that easy...
