This Auburn / Arkansas "rivalry" might be the SECRant's strangest yet. I have to say I appreciate some good game week trolling as much as the next guy, but as an outside observer the trolling this week has been lame and forced on both sides.

But what you have lacked in quality you have certainly made up in quantity.

Missed one key bullet, the exiled QB factor.

Over rated by who?

He's done a good job this year. Au has beat everyone on their schedule that an Au team should beat on a regular basis, with TAmU being the one upset win.

I like to poke fun with Au fans and make picks against them but they've done better than expected. I had 4 games down for them as def L's and they've won one and lost one. Depending on UGAs health I still see that as a loss and Bama is a def L. Back to back SEC road games will tell a lot, think they split and finish 8-4 which is a very good season considering last year's record.

Can't truely rate Gus yet but he's done very well so far and should be a solid coach, don't think he'll win it all at Au but might be able to get them to the dance once every 4 years .

Sad week for the flagshippers. Even the other schools fans are bitchslapping their sails.

A month ago, the same fans were amused.

Yeah, but luckily for them they still have the Arky board when they can all gather around and say how AU isn't doing it right. They have fallen a long way since the days of Sao.

He's overrated. We should clearly be 8-0 but Malzahn can't control the weather like I expect him to do.

Weak sail

who's trying to sail

who knew a legit question would be considered sailing?

hard to believe this legit question got 9 down votes and no auburn posters to reply to this general question to our SEC brethren

16-4 as a head coach... regardless of what he inherited, that's a nice start through 20 games... time will tell though.

He's trying his best. I feel for the guy knowing we were in his shoes last year.

yeah I'd like to know which is it. is he inheriting players from someone else or benefiting because they were his own players.

well he has benefited from inherited players. and he didn't recruit and land every player on those highly ranked chizik recruiting classes

so both

Gus will be successful. How successful? B+ in the SEC IMO. That's pretty good.

You used to be better than this, at least I thought so. I don't really pay that much attention to everything you do here, but this is some sad shite.

It's like you'll take anything as being a 'victory.'

Your thread sucks, your team sucks, your fanbase has spectacularly failed to live up to it's glowing reputation of being the best 'trollers' on the board. Now you're MSU fans...without the humor.

That is the Piggie eternal excuse, right?

Y'all whine about Petrino leaving the cupboard bare.

Bielema won't be fixing that the way you hoped he would.

correct. between attrition and shitty recruiting, the current talent level on our team is turrible.

Bert needs a little time to recruit and implement his style of player before he can be judged. Malzahn on the other hand has inherited all the talent he has had to coach. Only time will tell if he is able to sustain it.
