Darkhorse last place team: LSU

Worst HC in P5
Worst QB in the SEC
Breaking in new offensive system
Average and inexperienced WRs
Zero depth on the OL
Their whole offense will be Guice, teams will stack the box
Key won't play this season, leaving their defense middle of the pack

All the ingredients are there for a full on dumpster fire. They're just one injury to Guice or an OL from sparking the flames.

Ole Miss is headed for a season that will make John L Smith proud.

Ole Miss has to be the leading candidate.

Remember, they were 5-7 (2-6) last year and they lost:

Head coach
Offensive coordinator
Defensive coordinator
Starting (NFL caliber) Quarterback

Plus they already know they won't be going to a bowl this year so that motivation is gone.

All these distractions will follow the team this entire year. Every interview will have questions about the NCAA and Freeze.

Unless Matt Luke does an amazing job (he won't) they will hire a new head coach at the end of this season. That new head coach will bring in his own assistants. The current staff knows this and they will be busy this season looking for their next landing spot.

As soon as things get sideways their entire season will run off the rails.
