This idea may be because I have been drinking since about 10, but I would still like recognition for it if it does happen.

And therein lies the whole problem. Fans of other schools, mainly Ole MIss fans, just can't accept that MSU can ever have a winning team, and they want to blame it on the cowbells.

Elisha do you make excuses about everything? It seems whenever Ole Miss loses to Mississippi State you come up with excuses such as refs, cowbells, etc. If you lose just say the truth we didnt play good and got beat.

Cowbells didn't beat us, our DC and his inability to stop the option did. That being said, it seems obvious that everyone in this thread agrees that they should be banned. If the SEC would follow their own rules, they would be. We all know the SEC doesn't really stick to their policies though...

Better question: Will we finally see the end of Ole Miss claiming titles they don't have this year?

I thought they were allowed to use them as long as their seating capacity stayed below avg highschool levels.

Eli does seem to be upset about this. You'd think he wouldn't care what State does considering OM had the pre-season #4 team and all.

Dude you just got owned by Kige. Funny how people don't bitch about this when State can't compete. Before you talk smack about State Oxford has a big arse mobile home park off the side of Highway 6 that can be seen for miles.

Haters. Its tradition. I agree it is definitely a home field advantage, but if we are always so terrible then why does this matter to you if were louder than everyone at home.

It's more retarded. Every week you see a MSU cowbell thread. How many rooster call threads do you see?

I'll answer that for you. Only in game threads.

Has there been a rash of cowbell murders in Starkville recently that I didn't hear about?

Maybe they were trying to bring in more State fans by combining the football game with cow bingo? Seems like State fans would go for that.
