Strong way to put it. Oxford has come a long way in the last 10-15 years or so. The majority of poeple are pretty open. Your typical college types. Frats still seem kinda racist. Just sayin'

You'll get no fight from me. I was in a fraternity but kinda-sorta regret it. I've got lots of friends to this day who were a part of it with me, but I can't help but think the system itself breeds prejudice. And not just racial prejudice, but prejudice against other people in different fraternities, sororities, etc ("don't hang out with people in XXX fraternity because they're all rednecks/meatheats/assholes/whatever")

Doesn't matter if he was black, white, yellow, or blue. Maybe he was a racist, maybe he wasn't. There are still more racist at OM than State. I was actually in Oxford right before the presidential campain and 99% of the signs there were McCain. I know you will probably say this has nothing to do with racism but beneath the surface it most definitely does.

If I was willing to bet, I'd say that there are probably more conservatives who go to State than go to Ole Miss. You are just making yourself look like a idiot now.

And you're going to bring the presidential debate to prove we are racist???? Did you see all the positive press? God forbid for once Ole Miss gets good press.

First of all, the only time people are hit with beer cans is at a baseball game when people are so hammered that they accidentally miss the trash can when they throw it. Secondly fights usually don't break out inside of a stadium. Its just a pretty big redneck thing to do.
