Our food markets do have delis with fried chicken, but fried chicken is closer than the markets. Abners is on Jackson Avenue and Lamar. Zaxby's is on Jackson, Chick Filet, Sonic, etc.
Look under tailgate catering for some really fancy eatin'!
You might want to Google restaurants on Jackson Avenue, University Avenue, or Oxford in general. I am sure there is a list there.
BTW, any number of antique stores sell the fine China and might sell you a place setting. Better bring your own silverware though.
Me? I like a good ole plain cheeseburger from Burger King (And you can get a crown there!) and I just buy chips....fries are too greasy, but I will eat them if I am starving!

Did anyone know that most burger fast foods like Wendys dont even have french fries anymore....they are about 5% potato and the rest is soybean, chemcials and cow farts. Sad. The golden arches mix up a little more potato...maybe 10% and its all about $$$ when you serve a million fries a day... penny or two here and there makes $$ but you would think these companies would realize that they would get more customers by using real potatos?

Whataburger is good for what it is. I've never been particularly disappointed when eating it. Then again, I never went in with high expectations.

It is meant to be eaten at 2 am fricked up. They start serving breakfast at 11 pm and they serve a BBQ chicken strip sandwich on Texas toast that I posted above. The glory of the Whataburger menu is in the "all time favorites" and the breakfast menu, not the burger

wow. I wasn't sure why they went to the "natural cut fries" but that is the complete opposite of fries. I eat CJ'S burgers here in arkansas. best burger period. steak burgers from fresh ground steak that day. the fries are whole cut potatoes. it's as fresh and real as it gets.
