Obviously. If we would have taken a guy they didn't like such as Brick then this forum wouldn't have been a shitfest all offseason.

I know you are probably a LSU alter but you can't keep playing ref if you are going to blatantly ignore reality.

Look, I don't care who you are. That is what they told me when I supported you on the help forum but I don't care.

What I do care about is having you explain to me why SO many LSU posters kept flaming the shite out of a A&M they shouldn't care about on the forum all offseason if the reason wasn't Chavis.

The whole point of a message board is for talking shite.

Well. They played Bama twice in one season recently and Chavis and they only got in the endzone once in 8 quarters. So I mean. I don't know why they would hate Chavis.

I don't hate either TEAM. The A&M posters are some of the more delusional fans in the SEC, right up there with Ole Miss and Tenn...but I don't hate them. I certainly respect the Florida program a lot more than I do A&M...they have accomplished much more and are just a better overall program. Quite frankly, A&M is going to have to beat LSU at some point before LSU fans can take them serious as a contender. Not flaming, just being honest.

the logic in this sentence is terrible. "LSUs offense played like shite for 8 quarters 1 season 5 years ago, therefore LSU fans must love their defensive coordinator"

That doesn't explain what transpired this offseason and you know it.

Whatever. We all know what the situation is. If you want to blatantly ignore reality it probably isn't fitting that an Aggie calls you out on it.

Why should we be worried about another fan base "taking us seriously"? And why do you think that's important?

It will take more than one loss. One loss will be explained away as a fluke, or Joe's frickup if it happens this year.

Y'all were the same way with them hiring Steele. It works both ways.

It's the only season LSU has been relevant without Saban's players in 60 years. So... Why wouldn't y'all love the best coach to work for LSU after Saban?

So then Sherman gets all the credit for A&M's 2012 season?

I think they honestly think people here value their opinions and stuff. It's truly weird

Actually LSU fans very rarely get under my skin on this forum. Y'all are a little too much like hard liquor- I don't let myself get a big enough dose because I don't want my stomach to churn.

The Arky fans, or even some Ole Miss fans, are like beer. They sneak up on my arse and before I know it I am drunk with rustle.

He played a huge role, but he wasn't on the coaching staff... So how do you think that's analogous? Chavis built the 2011 LSU defense and actually coached it.

We weren't upset one bit about the Steele hire. At worst we got a little upset that they refused to give Chavis the respect he deserved which isn't the same thing.

I mean we did our part to add to the shitfest but it wasn't out of rustle. It was us going bonkers with excitement that someone gave a crap about us after a year that had 59-0.
