Do Pac12 or B12 defenses actually cover WRs?

Serious question. Every highlight for Luck and Griffin is a guy running five yards open. Must be nice.

Auburn might as well be playing in the Pac12 or B12...

Look at our DBs

Not that well, but Baylor's Kendall Wright is an incredible WR nonetheless. Converted QB actually.

I don't think Griffin played against a top 50 pass defense all season.

He would have done well against a good defense though. He was completing passes to guys who were covered up all season.

He threw a good pass to RGIII against TCU in the 1st game of the year...

He dismantled some good teams in E.Tx while in HS. Sickeningly good. Actually, he was right down the road from Rollison. Tyrik could have converted into an awesome WR if he had to. Just that good of an athlete. Did AU try that? :sorryforthederail:

Does this thread mean Barkley might be overrated.

Excluding Kansas, the only SEC QB who would have a shot at starting for a Big 12 school is Tyler Wilson.

There are a lot of overrated QBs in that league and you dont have to look no further than OU's Landry Jones. Dont let the system, conf weak secondaries, and media hype fool you.

AJ McCarron would be a walk on at Mizzou.

Yea we heard the same thing about McElroy but he developed into a good QB. I dont expect you to have a high football IQ since you were brainwashed by the Big12 to think you were actually watching a competitive football game. If McCarron was in the Big 12 he would be throwing a bunch of passes to wide open guys and his stats would be great. Instead he had to throw against defenses that actually play bump and run.

and every highlight for LSU shows WR's wide open and RB's with gaping holes. that's why they call them highlights. but i definately have observed better db's in the SEC. one can credit spurrier with that. while at florida he put the sec on notice that if you can't cover you're gonna get blasted.
