Arkansas was Mike Anderson's dream job. He was an assistant there for 17 years under Nolan Richardson. He said himself that Arkansas was the only job he would ever leave Mizzou for.

I wouldn't have an issue at all with Martin being the coach but I don't think he will be in Sterk's final 3.
As to being dead, the next coach can drive 2 hrs east or west and be in front of very good talent. MU will never have a roster like Kentucky but in 2 recruiting cycles the next coach can make a lot happen. A couple elite underclassmen and 8 experienced upperclassmen can win a lot of games.

A big arena isn't a positive anymore. They aren't as loud when filled and rarely are filled today

I don't know anyone not a USCe fan that thinks it is more than avg in terms of crowd noise
It isn't a knock on USCe fans but having a arena that doesn't trap noise as well as others + way too big for attendance

Mizzou fans are the last fans that should be talking bad about anybodys sports teams after this past year.
Besides, I'm sure Martin would rather stay in the SEC over going back to the Big12.

Is this like the time Mizzou fans were telling us Gregg Marshall was going to be their basketball coach. It was a lock.
