Just wondering since Hog Fans know Nutt so well. What can Rebel fans expect from Nutt for the rest of the season?

The only advice most of them have for us is "Told you so" and "Go frick yourselves".

I never thought what the ARky fans told me would come true, but it did last on Thursday. I mean a play action on 3rd and 14 is a pretty atrocious play call.

We played like shite against Vandy and USCe last year and won 6 straight.

Nutt did similar things in 2006 and 2002, IIRC.

I like how our schedule sets up from here on out.

Well, you guys will beat someone you're not supposed to. But you will probably lose to a weaker team again.

He will blame this season on the Swine Flu.

He will continue to use phrases like "We just gotta hold on" and "we fought real real hard last night". He will not claim any responsibility but will take all the credit when his players are successful. If play calling continues to look absolutely miserable like play action pass or smoke draw on 3rd and 15 or 25 he is most definetly in charge of calling them. Look for Snead to continue to look horrible in game and regress. Ya'll cannot put the blame on this kid or he will lose all confidence. Then he will never be the same QB. I've seen it all too many times.

My advice is for them to get winter-weight khakis if they haven't already.

If we lose to Vandy, I am not entering Vaught Hemmingway for the Bama game unless I'm hearing some good things on how we are playing them. I'll be in the Grove getting hammered, but I don't want to see a sodomizing of epic proportions. If we can't beat Vandy, Bama will likely skull frick us. Then again though, we did beat Florida last year right after we lost to Vandy, but if we want to go to Atlanta, we probably can't afford to lose to Vandy or Bama.

In your favor, you are now in a position that Nutt can cast it as "us against the world" and fire up the team.

The guy is an emotional roller coaster and his teams tend to reflect that.

I was surprised at how poorly Snead executed vs. sCarolina.

Every year for 10 years straight while at Arkansas, he would follow his first conference loss with at least one more loss. Last year he broke the pattern with a win over Florida.

We have our own problems...but my advice is to keep hoping the pattern is broken...and keep alcoholic beverages, appropriate psychotropic substances, and/or a door to the outside near. You may need to walk off some emotional spikes that rapidly develop. In the event that he does snatch defeat from the jaws of victory....do not throw objects. Know the Serenity Prayer by heart. Cursing is often therapeutic. Educate yourself to Nutt's trends in coaching. Surround yourself with other Rebel fans who have enlightened awareness. Support one another. They will understand. Stabilize your mental state by quickly identifying Nutt-Huggers and their rote verbosity and never-ending excuses. Be vigilant. Don't be ensnared by their thought processes. It can lead to a serious cult-like mental disorder and deprogramming can be futile. Enjoy your big wins.

The best advice as concerns any fan of a Nutt team is to buy LOTS of TUMS. I would also advise OM fans to count on beating Alabama and losing to MSU. It's just the way it is with Nutt.

Lock Nutt up for a lifetime contract while you can.
