I would say "relieved" is the better word to describe how Bama fans feel today.
Maybe that's the word I was looking for but as a golfer I believe in "Luck" but maybe I am getting mixed emotions today and feel:

Lucky,Fortunate,and overall "Relieved"..

I agree 100%. Alabama and LSU both had their chances to pull away, Bama early and LSU late.

I would not say bama was lucky. Good teams find ways to win and we have got to give them props. I do feel that we should have put them away late in the 4th and not stop pressing their worn out d on that last drive and they wouldn't have gotten the ball back!

I just got in from being out of town so I'm sure most of what I'll say has been said, but that was a bit of an odd game to me. We average 6.6 yards per attempt rushing, AJ isn't sacked (I think), and we only have 260 yards of total offense going into the final drive? McCarron was pretty much awful going into that last drive.

Mettenberger on the other hand was borderline incredible.

Both O-lines were better than I thought they would be really.

I feel fortunate that we won, and LSU was the better team for most of the game (outside of the second quarter), but I'm not sure we totally stole it. We left points out there too.

They should. That isn't a bad thing though. They were lucky to escape with a win. Sometimes you need a little luck. A bounce here or there. If doesn't matter though. All that matters is the final score.

You fAggies always talking about other mens junk :smh:

Plus, you do realize that 1) hes our coach, and 2) he exhausted his eligibility at kent state, so its very unllikely that he plays a single snap

What you saw last night was not luck. It was a clutch performance by a championship team.

If anything else it should bring down the level of arrogance that most of the Bama fans on this site have about how overblown they think their team is. LSU, with a second team OL, handled them for a majority of the game.

Bama is a great ball club but are nothing to get excitied about.
