Ole Miss.
I can remember DK from Oxford High and AJ Brown from Starkville High their senior year. I (we) thought AJ was a lock for State. Watching the high school stream I thought we got the better of the two. Ole Miss got both. Rest is history. They are both incredible athletes.

Exactly. Burke’s career doesn’t compare to DK’s currently. He will have better numbers by the end of his career barring injury, but that will be due to him having played more games rather than being more talented. DK shredded defenses in college and is currently shredding defenses as the best young receiver in the NFL. Burke’s current numbers and situation don’t support him coming close to that.

Don’t try to talk logic to this guy. Burk is the next Jerry Rice and DK is just a run of the mill WR who played sparingly due to season ending surgeries, across from another potential All-Pro NFL WR and an OC the preached run to open grass.

Never said DK wasn't good, but I said when both careers are over, Burks will have the better stats. Which is true.

It sucks that DK's career was shortened by injuries, but that's how careers work when you compare them.

Would be cool if DK would get the ball thrown to him some. Only one fricking catch tonight.

Are you talking just about college stats?

Yes. I don't care about the NFL personally. I'm sure they'll both be great in the NFL.

Like all pig players of late, never heard of him. Likely never will again.

What's insane to me is they claim that Baker's top speed was 21 and Metcalf's was 22 on that play. You can't convince me that Metcalf wasn't outrunning him by 5 mph.

He needed that hustle play to make up for the early celebration lost TD a few weeks back. I'd say he is even now.

He made a great play to win that very game. He was already even.

People are forgetting that our offense completely disappeared whenever we played any defense with a pulse.

I'm old enough to remember people saying we shouldn't have fired luke.

DK, AJ, an NFL TE(who got thrown to like 3 times a season), and I'm pretty sure Wilkins(RB for Indy) played that same year at OM.

That was absolutely insane. Metcalf looked 30-40% bigger...than that NFL corner who was WAAAAY out in front...and ran him down like he was standing still. “Not human”. Agreed

And it's not like he was a 4.6 guy or something. Budda Baker ran a 4.45 at the combine. I guess 4.33 catches up quickly to that.

Yet he went 16-20 (11-20 if you take out the 5 wins they had to forfeit in '16) overall, and 1-2 versus Arkansas over the course of his college career. What a wasted 3 years he spent in Oxfart.

Here's Burks running down Alabama's Diggs last year on an INT

Uhh, Diggs scored. So, no, he didn't run him down. He also had much more of an angle on him to get there.

That isn't anywhere near as impressive as Metcalf's play.
