So you are just going to ignore JHill's two "incidents" and your starting QB kicking someone in the head?

The kid beat the shite out of one of your students. He can play football. Of course you don't have a problem with it.
.................................................
...and in early Dec. or late Nov. of next year, on a Saturday, we fully expect him to beat the shite out of a couple of your students.

Not at all. Your team's fan is the one that specifically used Mettenberger as his logic. Hill made mistakes, and the sucker punch was stupid and he was punished for it. The earlier incident depends on how you look at it, but it doesn't look good in any way.
It's just funny that any school looks at others with some better than thou respect in regards to these things. All of them have their bad apples. Bama's situation is clearly the worst seeing as the players beat these kids up AND robbed them.

I've been in your head for months.
You live in Nola? Going to the zulu ball? I finally got tickets

Come on Saban, this is Urban Meyer type shite. You don't need that thug...

Auburn is about to take back Ricky Parks, supposedly, but he was only dismissed on drug tests. Well, at least Alabama fans can no longer joke on Auburn for taking so-called "thugs" during recruiting, and likewise. Auburn has given second chances and those second chances have worked out well.

Pettway didn't do any of the assaulting, but he was there. Eddie Williams is the kid that jumped the reservation that night. He had/has a real problem, because he was arrested the night before for having a pistol in his car after starting an altercation at a convenience store in Ttown. The coaches hadn't found about that, when the robberies took place. Looks like the kid said, I'm gone anyway so f**k it.

Quick, give us your opinion on Shaun Kitchens, Dakota Mosley, and Mike McNeil.

that is true for one of the students attacked, however the reports state in the other incident he "actively participated"

How does a 20 year old get youthful offender status?

Help me with my recollection of their charges...was there a gun envolved?

I think there are crimes that you can rehabilitate kids through football, and I have no problem with that. Second chances can be, at times, a literal life saver. I hoped that TM7 could have been helped, but obviously he needed a change of venue. I am quite surprised that Saban took this kid back. Only time will tell if the kid has changed his ways.

If I'm not mistaken, Pettway searched his pockets, but regardless, I fully agree with most of the comments in this thread. I live in P'Cola where he's from and know the coaches at Catholic H.S.where he was schooled and they can't believe that he was involved in something like that...was a super kid....go figure

I don't recall. Was there anything regarding drugs that came out during the investigation/trial?
