Mason's weakness was not having HC experience. It's been a few rough years, but the man learns quickly and is able to correct his mistakes, like some of his original hires. Extremely positive for the future with Mason now.

Living in Tennessee, I'd love for my kid to play for Derek Mason. I've been impressed with him since his first press conference.

As Rooster said, Muschamp is trying to buy groceries right now. Hard to make much worth eating when you have peanut butter and mothballs in the cupboard.

Kevin Sumlin's weakness is that he's still guaranteed $15 Million no matter what happens between now and 2019 unless someone else is stupid enough to hire him.

As a result, he has no motivation to get better or even to give a frick.

Lyle's biggest weaknesses, imho, is his control freak demeanor and his complete lack of ability to coach under pressure.

Sumlin either can't or refuses to teach the two basic fundamentals of football: blocking and tackling.

Apparently swag don't block and arm tackles are cool.

Right now, Kirby Smart isn't used to coaching without superior talent so he gets stubborn and conservative when he can't afford to be.

Fortunately, he is young and can get better. He is also a potentially elite recruiter, so the talent level should improve to overcome some of that.

You think UGA doesn't have superior talent now? I'm going to say they're the most talented team in the East already, even before Smart's first, and extremely good, class comes in.
