The posting of actual facts is considered some kind of "melt" here?

Or are you just as stupid as the OP? I'll hang up and listen, Paul.

Well there is only 2 years Fulmer was eligible, and I've only been able to find the standings for 1 of those years. Tennessee was #5 and the highest ranked SEC team.

quote:

Steve Spurrier snitched out Bama, and another fellow also contacted the NCAA about Bama and Albert Means. His name was Houston Nutt, and he wound up at some shite school in Mississippi. A school so insignificant no one can remember who or where.

Fulmer was simply asked to verify whet Spurrier and Nutt had told them. Once again, your incredibly stupid arse is wrong.

Weird how all these coaches know what was going on when it was just a booster at Alabama doing things.

quote:

That is complete bullshite spread by morons (hi there), and is not based in fact. Please link the story of his arrest.

Fulmer and Tennessee covered it up is why he wasn't arrested

quote:

You seem to hate winners. Why?

Fulmer is the only coach in the past 60 years to have any success at Tennessee, so I don't know what you are talking about.

Fulmer was always a disciplinarian until Nilo Silvan. Nilo was accused of rape. Convicted in the media. Kicked off the team and lost his senor season. Name and reputation dragged through the mud for months and ruined.

OOPS! Some of the girl's friends conscience got to them, and they snitched her out. She lied about the whole thing. She finally admitted her lies.

Fulmer said never again based on just the word of another.

Coaches know what goes on at other schools. People talk. Parents talk. High school coaches talk. Boosters talk.

So, it was unfounded bullshite?

Were you the OP, or just another bandwagon riding Bama fan with a big mouth?

Huh? You're talking about until 1995? So 3 years into his 16 years as HC?

And since 2006 was apparently the first year of the cup, that means the cup wasn't named until 11 years later.

I don't understand your angle here.

Yes, high school coaches do talk. In the case of Albert means however, high school coaches sold access and influence.

So, it was unfounded bullshite?

Tennessee paid out $300,000, so no. It was covered up. Peyton tried to play it off as he was mooning another player, but the other player in the locker room wouldn't back up his claim and said they were shocked at what he did.

You asked for proof, then just ignored the article completely.

Proud bandwagon member for half a century and been around long enough to know the only time Tennessee has had success against Alabama in the past 60 years were the Fulmer years.

You don't understand the angle?

Once Fulmer had a player wrongfully crucified in the media. He said never again. What part of that does your dull mind fail to comprehend?

Yes, and a lot of other people knew about it. They shopped Means around the country, and only one filthy program bit.

So, no arrest? See above about Nilo Silvan and false accusations.

This is why you are too stupid to be in this conversation.

60 years with no success? You sure about that that?

Yes, you're sure, because you're a t-shirt fan with no clue about the record.

You brought up 2006? Before Hamilton's disastrous hires and Saban's tenure. What was the record?

Up through 2006 the record was 44-37-7.

You won 44/88 games. A .500 record. How dominate.

Okay, add your Saban record. Your win percentage is a screaming .605.

My God, it's almost as if UT has never won a game against you. UT has beaten Alabama more times than any other school. You didn't know that, did you, "proud bandwagon member for half a century"?

"That UT had no success against us Bammers..." Like I said. You're too stupid to debate.

as someone fully committed to hating Auburn, I've never heard any Bama fans shite talk Shug. It was before my time, but Bama fans is that era that i know respected him.

Usually it's in the context of Auburn always hiring assholes, except Shug. I've heard except Shug in a bunch of contexts about Auburn.

Ok, but that kind of goes against the argument the name Fulmer Cup is unfair. That's why I don't understand the angle, you are making the case that he wasn't a disciplinary coach the overwhelming majority of his career.

Yes, and a lot of other people knew about it. They shopped Means around the country, and only one filthy program bit.

Yeah, it was bids between your coach and a local booster who wanted the kid.

This is why you are too stupid to be in this conversation.

You mention up through 2006, but fail to realize that prior to Fulmer gaining 10 wins, the record was also near the .600 range.

Since 1960, aka the past 63 years, Tennessee has 20 wins, Alabama has 41, and 2 ties. So Tennessee has like a 31% win rate against Alabama since before the modern era of college football.

What a bandwagon riding moron. Literally too stupid to be in the conversation.

Wait, your stupid arse might have graduated from Bama. Simple math escapes you.
