I'm hoping Florida can move up. We still have some chances in w tennis, lacrosse, softball, and maybe track & field.

Doesn't matter what sport it is; if score is kept, win it.

Tennis players, divers, gymnasts, etc. work their asses off too. Just b/c more folks purchase tix to football games than to soccer match-ups, the accomplishments of the latter shouldn't be marginalized. That mentality is shitty.

I always smh at the "who cares" comments from fans of teams who don't perform well in a particular sport.

Well done, Florida & Georgia athletics.

I don't think any SEC will break the top 3 ever.

Oh, I know. I was just listing the sports that still have a really good chance on possibly winning a title this year.

He was referring to that South Carolina fan that is probably your typical "let's go to Columbia and raise our rebel flag" kinda guy.

UGA and UF have both done it. UF last year and UGA like 8 yrs ago.

LSU is the only other SEC school to finish Top 10. A&M has done so but while they were in the Big 12, of course.

ETA: Forgot Tennessee. They also have finished in the Top 10. Sorry, Vols.

Are you talking about this year only? Because Florida finished second last year. And have finished top three a couple of times.

It takes a pretty huge year to finish top 2 for us, I think we have only done it 3 times. It would take an incredible year to win it.

I'm tryin to figure out how Bama is ranked behind us I mean we are clearly better in women's basketball but I would say men's is even. Are we better than them at baseball by a little? Isn't softball even?

In raw score, UT is 3 pts ahead of Alabama. So really, the programs (this year) are pretty even, according to this metric.

Olympic sport kids have no retarded aspirations of going pro. Thus, they'll take admission to an Ivy League level school in a heartbeat. Kids who play sports other than football and basketball tend to have enough brains to choose the better academic institution, as opposed to where they can party and get laid the most.

Auburn is the most impressive AD on this list.

I mean, we had a god awful year in football. God awful year in basketball. We're terrible at baseball. Hell, even the swimming slipped up this year. How in the WORLD are we sitting at 38?

MSU is doing okay in sports.
Football 8-5 bowl game
Baseball probably will be hosting a regional top 15
Indoor track Top 15 finish
Outdoor track top 25 team
Tennis Top 15 now
Golf Top 25 now
XC suck

Basketball a sports which the Bulldogs have been the best team in the west the last 10 years. Was awful this year.

That's all the men sports
