# 1 Clemson really has been through the gaunlet...heres their schedule:

Wofford (Sisters of the Poor was already scheduled)
Appalachian State
Louisville Slumping Slugger
Nueter Damsel (what the hell have they done? Beat Navy & Temple? woooooo...scarey.
Ga Tech a 4 loss team
Boston Market College very mediocre
Univ of Knu Jawsey @ Coral Gables mediocre enough to fire HC
NC State has been disappointment
Florida State College For Women who got L at 4 loss Tech

Sorry, not impressed. Bama/LSU would take them behind woodshed on neutral field. Because of Neuter Dame they have a higher ranked SOS than they deserve.

Not an impressive schedule, but it beats the hell out of Ohio State's.

I disagree.. I think Navy is decent. They could best Georgia. App state always fields a fiery team. If you think Notre Dame is not a very good team you're a fool and don't know anything about football. Florida state is still pretty good. I watched every minute of that FSU Clemson game- high caliber football. Clemson is very good. If there has ever been a more overrated team than the Florida Gators I have never heard of them.

Notre Dame is an impressive win as is Fla State. Having said that they failed to put either away convincingly. Navy and Temple look like quality wins though. Georgia tanking has really hurt Bamas schedule, but considering MSST, Auburn and if Bama wins the west Florida is left I think Bama will be the more tested and proven team. I like our defense against anyone. Clemson can get after the QB though so I think it would be a good game.

Clemson didn't play Navy or Temple, Notre Dame did.

You say Georgia tanking has hurt your schedule, but then you bring up Auburn as proof of having a hard schedule left?? Come on.

If Clemson Clemsons for South Carolina, that would be just so perfect.

Your thread would be more meaningful if you did not post it like fricking idiot.

I agree, but I can't make the same statement - "sour grapes"

They are really good, certainly better than Carolina, no argument there. That being said, they aren't on Bama's level, IMO. They struggled to beat Notre Dame, who turned the ball over like crazy.

That being said, on a one game scenario, they could beat anyone.

I keep getting a little more hopeful and a little more hopeful each week that goes by and they don't lose...

Y'all know they're gonna pull a Clemson before it's over..and we've continued to improve each week since Spurrier's departure, this team is hungry to beat the hell outta the taters...and I guarantee you all 88000++ ppl in Williams Brice that day will break out in the loudest "CLEMSONING" chant at Dabo if somehow, someway we do send those national championship dreams of theirs straight to hell.

CNB has said he'll run naked on the field afterwards if we win, and I said I would grace tRant with the most epic pronbomb ever to exist should we beat the taters...so more than likely we'll end up doing the impossible and winning. I'll include pics of a naked CNB streaking at Willy B in my bomb thread.

I can go without a naked CNB but will celebrate with you Carolina Girl as with most of the SEC rant. I love Dabo but he's getting too big for his britches. That schedule is a disgrace and he ain't no where near ready for post season playoff.

By the power of transitivity, Clemson beat Bama this year.

They might lose to Carolina in the ACC playoff game.

Chizik could well ruin Dabo's day. Tar Hells are hot right now.

The other thing that SC has going for it is they aren't making a bowl. Playing Clempson at home, will be their "bowl game". It will be their staff's last game, and at this point Coach Elliott isn't mailing it in.

SC has nothing to lose. Clemson has everything to lose.

The problem with this is we know Ohio State is very good, based on their talent and what they did last year. If they go undefeated and beat Michigan State, Michigan, and probably Iowa to close out the year, they'll be very deserving of a playoff spot.
