I've got my fingers crossed that a woman my wife works with says she thinks her neighbors have two they are looking to get rid of.

I just made an impulse bid on ebay, and now I'm regretting it. Wife is gonna kick my arse if someone doesn't outbid me.

You can have them retract your bid. Just say you bid by mistake.

Yes, yall have lots of experience buying national championship tickets on the internet. That one time in 2009 gave remarkable experience.

Oh, it is alot. And it seemed like a great idea until about 5 minutes after I posted it. These tix are going for about $2k each on the broker's sites, so I'm thinking someone will bid over me.

What are you 50 years old or something? Because before last year Bama hasn't been to a big game/bcs game since 92'. I was 8 in 92' so I didn't price tickets back then too often.

Cost me $1250 for 2 tickets to the World Series this year. Considering how much cooler going to the BCSCG would be, it's worth it.

Now, check out Super Bowl prices sometime. F that.

And these damn ticket brokers are buying up all the tickets on Ebay at ridiculous prices, and turning around and hawking them for even more on their websites

As long as people are willing to buy and bid on those tickets, ticket brokers will continue to do that and profit.

I think prices will go down after Christmas/New Years, but it's still a risk.

I'm just glad I had an inside connection working for the Sugar Bowl in 2007 so I got mine face value.

Two things:

1)Wait!!!! I wouldn't dare buy before Christmas and even then I would get as close to Jan 1 before seriously looking

2)Auburn fans are notorious for being cheap and that's effecting scalper confidence. So if you wait I think you'll see that corner endzone seat get down to around 400 about a week before the game.

This is why Glendale shouldn't host BCS games. The stadium is too small and it makes ticket prices ridiculous.

I'm going to the game. I just didn't think I'd see tix for the worst seats in the house get over a $1000.

Then you didn't check tickets for the 2003 or 2007 title game in LSU's back yard.
