Did LSU and State play any in Jackson like LSU did with Ole Miss?

Jackson used to host a lot of double header games with State and Ole Miss. One would play in the day and the other would play later that evening. I remember working both games as an usher when I was in the Boy Scouts. Ole Miss vs LSU at 1:30. MSU vs Bama at 7:30. The Ole Miss vs LSU game was generally on ABC regional TV.

Interesting 3rdRow. I don't know much about State either and they may win this weekend (I have my doubts), but the facts about their dominance is evident.

MSU leads the series on a neutral playing field, i.e. Jackson.

I'm actually impressed with how close the series is

A 65% win rate does not a close series make my friend. But if this makes you feel better troll on. Sak and friends are in for a rude awakening Saturday night.

In 1982, MSU won 27-24 Won it last second with a kicker from Baton Rouge, Dana Moore. LSU didn't sign him and he came to state. LSU was ranked 5th and it was an evening ESPN game and Scott Field brought in portable lights for the game.

Fortunate enough to view that epic live. LSU had the best defense in the conference that season but MSU performed the option to perfection for much of the day. Bond was the QB for MSU as I recall. Don't think LSU ever defeated him.

No.

I know it's a troll, but that doesn't make it intelligent. Especially when y'all suck at it so much.
