is sub par, this season. Gurley gained more than him, and is, de facto, the SEC´s best frosh

Gurley also was his team's first option at RB.

dude, we already know who gained more yards. what´s your weak attempt at a valid point?

the point is:

this thread was started asking if Yeldon had 1000 yards this season (he does), you then claim since some of that came in the SECCG...it shouldn't count (this is dumb), you then change the subject to who is better Yeldon or Gurley (which no one even mentioned Gurley's name ITT)

in conclusion it appears you are either very drunk and arguing with yourself or just don't know what the hell you are talking about

When people speak of 1,000, they speak of a measuring stick, habitually tied to the regular season.

I´ve recognized his quality, ability and projection, what the frick else do you dumbass inbreds want?

Should I post in Swahili, as it´s clear that common sense English is taxing to your brain.

I think most Bama fans would recognize that Gurley is very good and will be a stud for years to come....but I'm still confused on why you're here?

Says someone who needs three pages to understand how RBs are graded in a statistical sense, and is abnormally drawn to statistical references.

Rich.

No.

In 2002, the NCAA officially began counting post season stats. 2002. And actually, the SECCG has always counted to the players stats. It was actually considered to be not the postseason since it decides who the champion of the SEC is.

Get out of this thread, you look foolish

No, i absolutely do.

But it doesn't matter one bit. And you haven't responded about the fact that we play more regular season games than we used to but yet the stats still count. Weird huh?

It's seriously like you don't want Yeldon to have a 1000 yards for some reason. But he does. He has 1000 yards....it's crazy!

That has nothing to do with what is being discussed. Weird huh?

No, I could care less how many he gains, as he doesn´t play for my university.

I do think he is a great back though.

No one is talking about what you think we are. You came in the thread and have your opinion of what should and shouldn't count. That is fine, but it doesn't change the fact that Yeldon has 1000 yards for the season.

In 2009, Ingram won the Heisman trophy for his performance in the SECCG. No one said "Oh, but he scored 3 TD's in a post season game....they shouldn't count. Disregard them please when you vote"

Oh, you think he's great? Early you said

quote:

No, that was not my point. My point was, don´t think he´s had an All World season, as you´re comparing him to others who play less games. This is only logical. As I said, he is a VERY good back, and will be great

Great, good, whatever. People throw superlatives around like kleenex. I was trying to ´fit in'.

He is very, very good, and will be a great one.

What I am saying is, regular season is the measuring stick. After that, no doubt, it´s of value, but you can´t compare a back´s stats from a 13 game season to a back who has only played 10.

What is so difficult to comprehend?

frick the dumbass Heisman trophy comment, as you can see, it´s of no merit.

Who is comparing him to a RB that only played 10 games? And if you did, what if that RB had more carries through 10 games than Yeldon did in 13?

What?

The only thing that was said in this thread was that Yeldon has 1000 yards for this season.....and HE DOES. You are literally retarded.
