Why wouldn't Florida reschedule for Sunday or Monday?

LSU owes you zeroes nothing.

Double down? This mouth breather has quadrupled down. He's all fricking in at this point.

It's hilarious.

Yes. I think LSU is covering their arse because of the fit they pitched to play this weekend. Now that UF has asked to switch dates, LSU does not want to give up the money from their home game.

So because of a hurricane that strikes the eastern coast and that UF refused or would not discuss any possible solution that didn't involve playing in Gainesville on Saturday, the reasonable action is for LSU to give up a home game and have to not only refund their season ticket holders for the second time in two years, but also travel to 3 SEC stadiums in 12 days?

frick your mother's box.

In what world does it make sense that LSU loses a home game because of a hurricane in Florida?

That is beyond UF's control. If the storm was several days ago, I believe things could have been planned. This storm will be hitting less than 24 hours before the game was scheduled to be played. I think both UF, and the SEC office, were waiting to see the severity and path of the storm.

People keep bringing up Katrina. Katrina hit more than a week before that game was scheduled. There was no unkown with the storm at that point. Nobody knows how much devastation this storm will cause. Hopefully it won't be much, but that is wishful hoping. Gainesville may dodge this bullet.........or they may be without power for days and days.

Possible path predictions were out several days ago.

I mean, frick, this isn't a tornado or earthquake we're talking about.

It's embarrassing that a major university in Florida has shown they just have no fricking clue how to plan a game with the possibility of a hurricane coming through.

Can you please explain your logic behind this:

I mean LSU was very open to doing what was necessary to play this game now or in the very near future (Sunday/Monday). Why is LSU the one that needs to cover up anything?

It truly is amazing you idiots don't have more respect about the severity of what a hurricane can do....or does it not matter unless it happens to you?

Don't deflect. Please explain the logic behind your assertion that LSU has to cover the lack of rescheduling.

I have seen "well, LSU moved the Arizona State game....." more times that I can count.

This is like comparing apples to oranges.

Because ESPN's college "insider" said UF offered a Nov. date and LSU declined. He doesn't have a dog in the fight. An LSU guy says "nope, that didn't happen". I will take an impartial person over a homer from either school.

Who?

Because Alleva said in his presser that no neutral sites were discussed and no reschedule plans were discussed.
