I have noticed how little these ESPN announcers know about the teams in the games they are broadcasting. During the LSU/ND game, all they could talk about was the "soap opera" of next year's qb battle for the Irish. I am not sure they even mentioned anyone else on the team's name.

My favorite announcer screw up was Gilmore saying Colin Jeter was LSUs red zone threat when he had one pass thrown his way all year and it was around mid field.
