I think the view of "SEC-style Football" is too narrow. Personally, SEC football is about dominating offensive and defensive line play as much as anything. We've seen tons of different offensive styles as you go back through history, but they've all be predicated by the fact teams in this conference generally win the battle at the LOS. I still think that factor is prominent. Sure, you're seeing the offensive formations around those 5 linemen change, but the core is still the big guys. Honestly, the reports of its death are an exaggeration, mostly spread by people who want to see 2 TEs and a FB on the field.
