Did Nick Saban's talent send LSU spiraling down?
Miles lucked up having Saban's players on the team during his only National Championship and set the bar far too high. LSU is a middle tier program sans Saban's process, and pretty much played 1930s football with the SEC and won a decent amount of games, but would be in a longer National Title drought than Ole Miss had Saban never arrived. When will LSU realize they are essentially Purple and Gold Ole Miss?

And we haven't "spiraled" anywhere.
Pretty much middle-of-the-road in SEC West fb since we arrived.
