No, but not poor either. He went to a private Catholic High School, and his family all worked.

I agree. His maturity has been understated through his tenure so far. Didn't he auction his game jersey last year and donate all the money to the South Carolina relief fund? Seems to be a good kid and a great football player.

He did. He is a great representative of the SEC. Doesn't matter that he plays for LSU.

Think his father is a self made millionaire and his mother is a self made billionaire, so yeah he comes from a wealthy family

The car, we all know that stuff happens. It's either his or he thought he'd look cool with a pic of himself in front of it.
If I'm him I don't post a pic in front of that car but he pretty much runs baton rouge and will go pro after this season and honestly probably couldn't care less what the NCAA or lsu thinks.

The shirt, those things can divide a locker room. Whether u agree or not, the cops look bad but we don't know all the facts either, it's best to leave "stands" alone. See other players who took stands and were labelled as cancers. I know LeBron took a stand but u are talking about a different situation. There are basically no whites on the Cavs. Football has 105 players from many different backgrounds compared to 12 players on the Cavs who honestly are more alike culturally.

I know this, it will be THE topic on Sirius radio tomorrow.

I think Leonard Fournette should consider using his name, ala Ali, to stand up to this murder in BR. I'm with him if he does.

Actually, full athletic scholarship players save their families a TON of money by not having to pay for food, housing, tuition, etc.

Their parents can afford to pay for a $300-400 a month car note seeing as they are saving something like $4,000 a month.

I see no problem with it.

You know how easy it would be to get a car loan if you're Leonard Fournette?

He's a guaranteed millionaire.

So you are saying he got a loan based on future earnings and made Himself ncaa ineligible.

I just don't understand the complete and utter denialist mentality some white folks have. It's literally unfathomable to me.

Did I miss your comment about the police officer that was shot and killed in NO? Shot once in the back and twice more as he crawled away?

You really want to play the denialist and white mentality card?

You don't buy a Audi Q5 on a 400/mo note without a LARGE down payment

He obviously comes from money. You don't rock a beard like that without a team of highly-paid specialty groomers and at least one follicular surgeon on retainer, aided by the best lip-chin masseuse in the business (her name is Greta, for those of you who want to emulate the 'Nette.)

If his parents bought the car for him in full, he is still saving them a ton of money with his full scholarship paying for college. Don't see anything too wild about it.

Yes, but unless they are wealthy it's irrelevant what he is saving them by being on scholarship. That's why I was asking.

Unless they had the means to pay for his college it doesn't matter because of they dnot they weren't going to anyway.

His family is not poor. Lots of offshore baws in his family. His uncle is a deck foreman for Diamond.
