Yes. For the non-believers, give JFF Florida's defense while Tebow was there with the offense he has now. Who would beat them? I'm an Auburn fan, but JFF just might be the GOAT.

You are out of your fricking mind. Cam ran over all kinds of future pro bowlers. Dude was a machine. He would shite on JM and tebow. And will outlast both combined in the NFL.

Key word in my post was MIGHT. As stated, I am an Auburn fan. But what we witnessed from JFF we may never see again. He had absolutely no defense. None. He put up 41 and 42 against AU and Bama and lost. His D gave up 48 to Duke. DUKE!!!

Are you too fricking young to remember how shitty UFs defense was when Tebow won the heisman?

There's not a single person on this thread who would take Florida Tebow over JFF.

There's not one. Because even though most of you lack real intelligence, you're not utterly retarded.

Does he have 2 rings? Then no...

Ryan Theriot has more rings than Barry Bonds. Clearly he was the better player.

Oh wait, here's a better one. Trent Dilfer has more rings than Dan Marino. Clearly he was the better QB. That's Florida logic.

There are plenty, actually.

Florida's defense have up an average of 24 points and 349 yards per game in 2007. You were saying?

You're fricking retarded if you actually think these asinine examples that you're using are relevant to this discussion whatsoever.

I've never said that Tebow is a better QB than Manziel simply because of his rings. Tebow had record-breaking stats and a Heisman on top of his two rings.

Solely based on stats, they're about equal. Tebow was more efficient, while Manziel was more prolific. Tebow has rings on top of the individual accomplishments, and that acts as a tie breaker of sorts. As a college QB, I'd rather have Tebow than Manziel. Undoubtedly. Cam is the GOAT, though.

But the only reason you think Manziel was better than Tebow is because you have some silly vendetta against Tebow's overt Christianity, so I don't understand why I'm engaging you.

I think they're both (Manziel & Tebow) pretty cool.

All 3 of manziel, tebow, and cam are great and legendary SEC players. Dick measuring contests between the 3 are stupid

I can agree with that. Manziel is fun to watch.

I'm a little anti-Manziel at the moment because I don't want the Jags to draft him, though. My bad.

I have to admit, such threads are far more common in the SEC (or maybe just this board?) than they were in our previous cess pool ... er ... conference.
I don't get it.
SEC football programs have much of which to be proud; yet insecurity is rampant.

Good enough for dead last in the sec in pass defense (98th in the country) and 7th and 8th in the sec in total defense and scoring defense.

Yeah fricking elite

I just hate when people use rings to prove the worth of a player or program. So many factors go into it, it's never one player winning it and often the best team doesn't even win it.

If Manziel played for 4 years he would obliterate Tebow's total yards and total touchdowns stats. He'd come close to catching him in 3.

He's already a full yard better per play, and he's doing it all with far less talent on both sides of the ball.

Wins and championships mean dick when comparing individual players.
