LSU has never taken signed a recruit with grade issues?

Why is this 10 pages? Lacy has had a good career, good for him. Put him in a LSU uniform and LSU has the exact same record over the last 3 years. Lacy would not have changed a single outcome of any LSU game. The running back position is not an issue for LSU.

Grade story checks out, my buddy at work essentially said the same thing today when I told him about this thread. Said Bama may have done some shady shite but he was like 'whatevs'.

He's an LSU fan

Imgaine what their lives would be like if they didn't have football. Scarry as hell to think about all that rage/testosterone/anger/energy/strength heading in the wrong direction. The street would really be unsafe.

Yeah itd be really scary to think that they would have to **gasp** get a job like other people in society. We'd def be unsafe then

This is far from being a prodigy but doesn't suggest Lacy is so stupid he can't get in out of the rain like LSU fans suggest.

It was either him or Michael Ford, we got Ford

It worked out pretty well for both LSU and Bama although any objective observer will concede that Lacy has had the better career. And while it's true Ford had to split carries, the same is true for Lacy who played behind Ingram and Richardson.

So you thought every single LSU poster in this thread was lying, but when you heard the same thing from your buddy, you now believe it??? Why even ask the question in the first place if you weren't going to believe 20 different posters all saying the same thing?

More talented at what, dropping passes? You lose all credibility if you suggest Bell wouldn't be in the starting lineup at LSU. He averaged over 25 yrds per catch this season and none of LSU's receivers are even in that ballpark. Its laughable how any of the Louisiana guys who go to Bama and have solid careers are either not wanted or overrated. But whatever

LSU waited and waited and waited.

Dude kept spelling his name wrong and couldn't get eligible.

He took something like 7 summer school courses to get eligible after his senior year, and Alabama signed him.

NCAA said, "7 classes in 1 month...sounds legit."

I don't think anyone is purposefully lying in this thread. Maybe one or two.

If you can't understand that all of these wild stories about Eddie Lacy originated from internet rumor mongering than you're an idiot. In this thread he's been called mentally retarded, a drug dealer, a pedophile, and a cheat. Mostly by people who don't even know his last name is Lacy and not Lacey.

He's never been any of the above at Alabama.

I know someone who knew Eddie very well when he was younger. All I was told was that he was respectful kid who came from a very tough situation, who worked very hard to get to where he is today.

There's a huge population of jealous LSU fans on this site who feel they need to discredit any athlete from the state of Louisiana who didn't play at LSU because they feel it discredits their program or coaching staff in some way. They can't say Eddie Lacy is a good running back with out saying he's a moron and a terrible person. Kenny Bell can only run one route. Landon Collins is a punk and everyone around him is a cheater on the take. Denzel Devall only went to Bama because no one who is 6'2, 240 could ever possibly play in a 4-3 defense. etc. All fanbases do this to an extent but LSU fans have a real complex about instate players who go to play elsewhere.

And to think LSU fans accuse Bama fans of living vicariously through their football program.

He wouldn't have passed up OBJ and Landry. He would've been the 3rd WR and in our shitty offense that doesn't really mean very much. He's a perfect fit at Bama.

@JFowlerCBS: Two #Alabama football sources say they expect RB Eddie Lacy and CB Dee Milliner to declare for the NFL draft. LINK

SO the TigerRant represents an entire fanbase?

ooook

We can't even post on the dumpster fire of a Bama site.....and did you not see the clips of your fanbase before the NC game?

Kids being names after a coach?

Guy poisoning trees?

Putting the nutz on other men?

Sad really

It's a lot closer than you're willing to admit dickhead. I know for a fact that Bama fans don't insult guys from the state of Alabama who choose to play for another school. And like someone previously stated, whether it be Eddie Lacy, Kenny Bell, Landon Collins or Denzel Devall it's all the same story from you guys. It was the same way with Luther Davis a few years ago. And of course you take it a step further and try to be an internet bad arse and call me stupid. Well, I'm not a fan whose happiness depends upon the result of a sporting event, I simply enjoy the atmosphere and competitive nature of college football. I'm also not one who cares what some inbred coonass thinks about my intellectual level. Just further proof that LSU fans point fingers all day long at Bama and it's nothing more than a lame attempt to mask their own insecurity and butt hurt about the state of their program.
